HYDRAULIC PRESSURE ADJ (V30D-95/95)
1. Install a 1000 PSI gauge on the pump pressure
test port (located at the PX port on the upper
valve bank).
Install a 1000 PSI gauge on the load sense
pressure test port (located on the tee on pump
#1).
NOTE: Do not operate machine functions
during this procedure or you will ruin the
gauges.
2. With engine at half throttle, loosen the lock nut
and back the standby pressure adjustment
screw on pump #1 out (counterclockwise) one
full turn. Note the pressure on the gauge at the
load sense pressure test port.
3. Reading the pump pressure gauge, set the
standby pressure on pump #2 to 400 PSI over
the pressure reading on the load sense gauge
(turn screw clockwise to increase,
counterclockwise to decrease). Tighten the lock
nut.
4. Turn the standby pressure adjustment screw on
pump #1 in (clockwise) until pressure on the
load sense gauge starts to increase. Then turn
the pressure back down so that it matches the
standby pressure on pump #2, and tighten the
lock nut.
