CHAPTER 3: INSTALLATION
1. ASSEMBLY
A.
Package
Carefully unpack the Test Set and make a visual inspection of the tester for evidence of
damage that might have occurred during shipping. The user should take inventory of the
package contents to insure the following items are there:
1. DPS1000 Pitot Static Test Set, P/N 101-01175.
2. Hose kit P/N 115-00632 composed of:
a) 1 each Blue 25 ft Hose with quick disconnect and 1 tethered plug for Static (Ps)
port connection, P/N 115-00630.
b) 1 each Red 25 ft Hose with quick disconnect and 1 tethered plug for Pitot (Pt) port
connection, P/N 115-00629.
3. Carrying Bag, P/N 195-00020.
4. Instruction Manual, P/N 56-101-01175 (this document).
5. Power Cord, 90 degree, 115VAC, P/N AE9887-ND.
B.
Enclosure
The Test Set is encased in a Copolymer injection molded case comprised of upper and lower
sections (refer to Figure 5):
1. The lower section of the case supports the panel assembly.
2. The upper section is a removable lid.
3. The case is equipped with a one-touch extension handle and wheels for carry-on ease.
4. The case is the largest legal airline carry-on size.
