Caution
At a minimum, an XPR-600 Series server chassis weighs 18.4 kg (40 lbs.). To
avoid injury, we recommend that two people rack mount the chassis.
2.4
Connections
Make the following connections to the rear panel of the Barco Media Server. Installations
may vary, having different requirements. The following connections are meant as ex-
amples.
2.4.1
Main connections

Connect a monitor to the DVI port labeled “Desktop.”
(DVI cable not included.)

Connect keyboard and mouse to USB ports.
3.
Optional
—Connect the Ethernet cable from a router to one of the 10
Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) ports.
Note
If the server is to be connected to another server running
X-Agora Agents, connect the servers using 10 GbE Port #1,
and connect the router using 10 GbE Port #2.
The 10 GbE ports are on the right-hand side of the rear
panel. The top port is Port #1, and the other is Port #2.

Output, video capture, and genlock connections
XPR-600
Connect up to six outputs through the DisplayPort ports on the video output card. If
necessary, use the active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapters provided by Barco.
XPR-602

Connect up to six outputs through the DisplayPort ports on the video
output card.
If necessary, use the active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapters provided by
Barco.
