Plugging order and rules for a Processor configuration
In a Processor configuration the following rules must be considered:

The graphic cards are inserted into the PCI slots with the lowest numbers, followed by the O

then by the video input cards.
In a Processor configuration, including an E
XTENDER
in addition the following must be considered:
•
In the P
ROCESSOR
the connection card is inserted in the slot with the lowest PCI number.
•
If there are enough free PCI slots available in the P
ROCESSOR
, then the graphic cards are inserted in the PCI
slots following the connection card. Otherwise the graphic cards are consecutively plugged into the PCI seg-
ment 2 of the E
XTENDER
, starting with the slot with the lowest number.

and video input cards are all plugged in the PCI segment 1 of the E
