When disabling (OFF) the Smearing reduction the
fl
icker will be noticeable (frequency will decrease notice-
ably). See warning above.
When disabling the Smearing reduction, the projector will try to get the full image displayed. This can take up
to one minute!

Adjusting the phase
What can be done?
The timing of the Smearing reduction in relation to the vertical refresh rate of the displayed image can be set by changing the phase.
Bad alignment of the phase leads to motion artefacts such as a doubled image or worse smearing appearance.
How to adjust the Smearing reduction phase?

Tip:
A correct setting is the value where no double image and no or minimal smearing is visible on an image with fast moving
objects.
