10.2 Lamp power mode
What can be done ?
The lamp power mode can be set between Economy mode, Standard mode and Dimming mode. When
Dimming mode is selected, the power supplied to lamps can be changed in a range of 82% and 100% .
Depending on the application condition, the number of active lamps can be selected.

How to setup
1. Click on the drop down box next to Lamp power mode and select the desired mode (a).

Economy mode
: the wattage of the lamp will be a 230 W. If the surrounding environment is suf
fi

ciently dark or if no intense brightness is required. The lifetime of the lamp will increase.

Standard mode
: the wattage of the lamp will be at 280 W. This will produce the highest projection
brightness.

Dimming mode
: the wattage of the lamp can be changed between 82% and 100% of the maximum
wattage. The user can adapt himself.
2. To select the number of active lamps, click on the drop down box and select the desired number (b).

Single
: when the environment is suf
fi
ciently dark, a single lamp can be used. The projector will
automatically select the lamp with the lowest lamp run time.

Dual
: when brighter images are required, use dual lamp.
Switching from a dual lamp con
fi
guration to a single lamp con
fi
guration will block any further lamp op-
eration for 90 seconds. This period is used for lamp cooling.

is selected as

:
1. Click on the slider and drag the slider left or right until the desired value is reached (d).
Or,
click on the up down control of the spin box until the desired value is reached.
Or,
click inside the input
fi
eld, select the current value and enter a new value with the keyboard.
The lamp power value can be changed in a range of 0 (82%) to 22 (100%).
High altitude mode
This function controls the projector’s cooling fan.
Default value is not checked.
