Filter Library
About
The
fi
lter library provides access to global
fi
lter con
fi
gurations that are always linked to a particular loudspeaker
fi
le and that can be
referenced by any preset with the same loudspeaker setup. The
fi
lters contained by
fi
lter con
fi
gurations can either be designed with
the System Tuning Extension or be created manually.
To create a new
fi
lter con
fi
guration:
1. Click on
Filter Library
in the tab bar
2. Click on
New
and enter a name for the new
fi
ler con
fi
guration
3. Select the loudspeaker setup that you want to link with the
fi
lter con
fi
guration from the drop down menu below the tab bar.
You can change the association of the
fi
lter con
fi
guration by selecting a different loudspeaker setup. This will
however delete the assignments of
fi
lter to the speakers

Filter Creation
About
Filters can either be created from a
fi
nite impulse response (like the ones designed by the System Tuning Extension) or be designed
as in
fi
nite impulse response
fi
lter with a full-parametric EQ with up to ten individual
fi
lter bands.
To create a new FIR
fi
lter inside a preset
1. Click on
Preset Details
in the tab bar and go to the
Filtering
tab

1. Go to Filter Library tab and select the desired
fi
lter con
fi
guration
2. In the
FIR
section click on
New
3. Enter a name for the new
fi
lter and load the impulse response
fi
le from the IOSONO CORE‘s hard drive.
Note:
Please see "File Transfer", page 8 on how to upload
fi
les onto the IOSONO CORE.
4. Click on
New
and the new
fi
lter will be created from the impulse response

lter stage with the following parameters:

lter stage. Available types are low pass, high pass, low shelf, high shelf, peak EQ and band
pass

nes the cut-off frequency of shelving and high pass / low pass stages, de

Q-factor:

nes the slope for shelving stages de

lter stage depending on the stage type
