7.3.3 Installing the X-fan supply
Necessary tools
• Torx screwdriver T10
• Nut spanner 7 mm
In pictures below, the power box + X-fan supply assembly has been removed from the projector fi rst. However,
the X-fan supply can be installed on the power box without taking the assembly out of the projector! The way
to install the X-fan supply is exactly the same in both cases.
How to install the X-fan supply?
1. Put the X-fan supply on top of the power box and fi x it using two screws and four spacer bolts

2. Plug in the following connectors:
- J1: DC mains from connector 21 on the power box
- J500: fan signals from connector 16 on the power box
- J510: fan signals from connector 3 on the power box
- J600: I2C from connector 12 on the power box
- J650: 12V from connector 6 on the power box
- J100 to the Peltier element
- J400 to the fan lamp top
- J401 to the fan lamp bottom
- J402 to the fan lamp vertical
- J515 to connector J110 on the engine controller (fan signals)
- J511 to the fan PMP
- J512 to the fan cold mirror
- J513 to the fan bottom lamp house
- J730 to the ambient temperature and pressure sensor
- J740 to the ambient temperature and pressure sensor
3. Put the X-fan cover plate on top of the X-fan supply and fi x it using four screws
