Capacities and limitations
As a reference 100 still stores of 2K resolution can be stored, if the size of the still is bigger, the memory
allocation increases allowing for less number of stills. Image can be imported as described in the Operation
Section below.
Still Stores can be used in Backgrounds and Layers.
7.19 Programming Menu > Select Thumbnails for
Native Backgrounds
General
In this procedure, you will add select thumbnails for the Background Sources.
Prerequisite

Ensure that you are familiar with the
Programming Menu
. For details on this menu, please refer to
chapter
(Optional) Update thumbnails from the PC memory
1.
Click on the
Native Background
tab on the top of the Resource pane.

Click on the thumbnail icon.

Click in the black box next to input name.
4.
Navigate the computer
’
s file system to find and select the desired image file to be used.
Characteristics and limitations
Images need to be JPG, PNG, or BMP format.
(Optional) Update thumbnails from the input connector(s)
1.
Click on the Native Background tab at the top of the Resource pane.
2.
To add a thumbnail from the input(s)to all currently defined Native Backgrounds click the blue Refresh All
button that is above the list of Background names. To add a thumbnail to individual Backgrounds, click the
"Refresh Thumbnail" icon, which looks like two arrows forming a circle, located below the name of the input
in question.
The system will take a few moments to add the thumbnail image(s) into the GUI.
