We recommend passing a cloth lightly dampened with
olive oil over the cast iron grill (once dry).
We do not recommend placing the grill in the dishwasher
for cleaning.
Discolouring of the cast iron grill is normal and explained
by daily wear and tear; it does not affect the operation
of the appliance.

lava stone tray:

) remove the grill (1) and the
cover (2), disconnect the power supply (7), remove the
lava stone, extract the tray (3) and wash it with hot water
and washing-up detergent. Rinse, dry and replace: refill
the tray with these same lava stones, or replace them if
they have turned a dark colour, an indicator that they
are clogged with fats.

mit einem Lappen und etwas Olivenöl abgerieben

Das Ausbleichen des Rosts aus Gusseisen ist ein

Wanne für Lavasteine:

) das Rost (1) und
die Abdeckung (2) entfernen, den Widerstand (7)
anheben, die Lavasteine herausnehmen, die Wanne
(3) herausziehen und mit warmem Wasser und Ge-
schirrspülmittel reinigen. Mit klarem Wasser abspülen,
trocknen und wieder einsetzen: die alten Lavasteine
wieder einfüllen oder, wenn diese dunkel, d.h. fett-
durchtränkt sind, mit neuen ersetzen.

nutzen möchten (länger als 2-3 Wochen):
• reinigen Sie das Gerät sorgfältig, wie im entsprechen-
den Kapitel beschrieben;
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
