3.6.1.1 HTTPS Access Settings
You can add internal internal networks that are allowed access to the admin interface of the
Bandura Cyber TIG.
3.6.1.2 Ping Access Settings
The ping
utility indicates if a particular internet address is reachable across the internet. This
ping functionality can be abused by intruders, who may scan every internet address in a
network, seeking out active targets. Ping
Access
Settings
lets you to block these
intelligence-gathering scans.
The Ping Access Settings menu lets you add a list of trusted management networks. The
Bandura Cyber TIG will accept ping requests from these networks, and deny them from all
others. You can authorize access from both Internet Protocol version 4 and version 6 networks.
By default, the Bandura Cyber TIG will allow ping access from all IPv4 networks, as is indicated
by the 0.0.0.0/0 address. After you allow access to your own local management networks, you
can remove this "allow all" access by deleting it.
3.6.2 Bridging Interface
The Bridging
Interface
screen allows you to change the bandwidth or maximum rate of data
transfer between the two bridge Ethernet ports. You can separately change both the ingress
(inbound) rate, and the egress (outbound) rate.
