2.3  BIOS Features Setup

Virus Warning

When Enabled, you receive a warning message when a program (especially a 
virus) attempts to alter the boot sector or partition table of the boot drive (not the 
rest of the hard drive). If this happens, you should run an anti-virus program and 
check the data carriers.

Some disk diagnostic programs (e.g. data carrier maintenance or 
partitioning) alter the boot sector. If you plan to run such a program, we 
recommend that you first disable the virus warning. 

CPU Internal Cache

Switches the processor's L1 cache, on or off. Switching off the internal cache 
slows the system down considerably, and therefore is not advisable.
