Preparation
Caution:
Under extreme operating conditions, the
temperature of the rear heat-sink on this radio may
reach a surface temperature that is unsafe to touch.
Caution is advised to prevent possible skin burns.
¼ Note:
You must obtain a Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI)
for the vessel before you can use the Digital Selective Calling (DSC)
function of this radio. Consult your local maritime authority or radio
spectrum authority to obtain your MMSI.
