2.4.3 Outputs
2.4.3.1 Task
Used to send inspection program results. Global settings specify whether the result is sent to the PLC via IO-
Link or via the ethernet interface (TCP/IP or UDP). The Outputs tool gets dynamically adapted and offers
specifying which details of the code reader result information is sent using the specified interface. The number of
sent characters in bytes can be specified by modifying the string lengths of each result, if the result type does
not have a constant length.
2.4.3.2 Setting the parameters
For a new inspection program all result data of the expected codes is active by default. String parameters with a
variable length can be set to the expected lengths. The allowed range for the string length in bytes is between 1
(minimum) and 1024 (maximum). The offset represents the byte position of this information in the sent data.
By clicking EDIT the sent data can be freely customized. Clicking EDIT again leads back to the first view with
the non-desired data removed.
