Assigning the node ID
6.3
Each CAN bus module connected to the CAN bus must
have a node number (node ID) assigned to it. This number
may be used only once in the network. The numbers from
1 to 127 are permissible.
The transducer is set at the factory to node ID = 1.
For identification and when changing to configuration
mode, the LMT data is sent in the form of three CAN
messages shown in Tab. 6-3 on page 11. The node ID can
be changed using the LMT service with the message
shown in Tab. 6-6.
Saving the settings
6.4
The message in Table 6-7 is used to transfer the new
settings and save them as the BTL standard. A reset is
done, after which the new settings become effective.
