7.5.10 Access locks (Device Access Locks)
Using this standard parameter, it is possible to activate or
deactivate certain functions of the IO-Link device.
In BMP 01-…, there is the option to lock the function of
the parameter manager and the button. To do so, the
respective bit of the 2-byte value must be set to 1 (locked).
In order to unlock the function again, the bit is set to 0.

7.5.11 Profiles and functions (ProfileCharacteristic)
This parameter indicates which profile of the IO-Link device
is supported.
– Subindex 1 (DeviceProfileID):
0×000B (measuring sensor, high resolution according
to smart sensor profile edition 2)
– Subindex 2 (DeviceProfileID):
0×4000 (identification and diagnosis according to
common profile)
– Subindex 3 (FunctionClassID):
0×8001 (SSC function class)
– Subindex 4 (FunctionClassID):
0×8004 (teach channel)
7.5.12 Process data structure (PD Input Descriptor)
This parameter describes the composition of the process
data used.
Every part of the process data is described by 3 bytes.
