Description
Only the signal with the highest priority is displayed. The
signals are listed in descending priority.
LED IO-L (Operating State and Communication)
Name
Signal Meaning
Communication Green, alternating with LED off
in a ratio of 10:1, 1 s period
IO-Link communication is active. The device is ready.
Device Discovery Green flashing 2 Hz
The Device Discovery can be activated via a system
command to find the device again.
Ready Green, static The device is ready.

LED Alarm (Indication/Warning/Teach/Device Discovery)

Short Circuit Pin 2 / Pin 4 Red, flashing, 5 Hz 1:2 Short circuit at pin 2 or pin 4
Teach-in No Object Red, flashing, 2 Hz 1:1
The sensor is in Teach-In mode and no object is visible.
Teaching is not possible.
Teach-in Red, static The device is currently in teach-in mode
Bad Signal Quality Red pulse 50 ms
Poor signal quality, the signal quality is below the war-
ning threshold.
