Operating the appliance

These instructions apply to several appliance variants. It is 

possible that individual features are described which do not 

apply to your appliance.

Note: 

Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and 

switch it off again several minutes after you have finished 

cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen 

fumes.

Setting the fan

Note: 

Always adjust the fan strength to meet current conditions. 

If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes, select a high fan 

setting.

Switching on

Press button 1, 2 or 3.
The set fan speed lights up to confirm activation.

Switching off

Press the 

#

button.

Fan run-on time

Fan run-on is possible at any fan speed.

First, press the button corresponding to the desired fan 

speed: 1, 2 or 3

 

.

2.

To activate fan run-on, press and hold button 2

+

 for 

2 seconds.
The set fan speed flashes to confirm activation.

3.

Press the 

#

 button to end the fan run-on early.

Notes

The run-on time is 30 minutes for all fan speeds. Once this 

time has elapsed, the ventilation and lights switch off 

automatically.

The fan speed can be altered during the run-on time.

Intensive setting

You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-up of 

odours and fumes/vapours.

1.

To activate the intensive setting, press and hold button 3 

g

 

for 2 seconds.
Button 3 flashes to confirm activation.

2.

To end the intensive setting early, press the 

#

 button.

Note: 

The intensive setting runs for 6 minutes. Once this time 

has elapsed, the appliance returns to the fan speed previously 

set.

Lighting

The lighting can be switched on and off independently of the 

ventilation.
Press the 

@

 button.

Setting the brightness

When switching on the lights, press and hold the 

@

 button for 

2 seconds. The brightness is reduced.

Note: 

When switching on the lights again, the brightness is set 

to maximum once again.

Cleaning and maintenance

Risk of burns!

The appliance becomes hot during operation. Allow the 
appliance to cool down before cleaning.

Risk of electric shock!

Penetrating moisture may result in an electric shock. Clean the 
appliance using a damp cloth only. Before cleaning, pull out the 
mains plug or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.

Risk of electric shock!

Do not use any high-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners, 
which can result in an electric shock.

Risk of injury!

Components inside the appliance may have sharp edges. Wear 
protective gloves.

Cleaning agents

To ensure that the different surfaces are not damaged by using 

the wrong cleaning agent, observe the information in the table. 

Do not use any of the following:

Harsh or abrasive cleaning agents,

Cleaning agents with a high alcohol content,

Hard scouring pads or cleaning sponges,

High-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners.

Wash new sponge cloths thoroughly before use.
Follow all instructions and warnings included with the cleaning 

agents.
