If On is selected for the Calibration Factor, scroll down to choose a
Single
K-Factor or a
Table
of K-Factors.

] keys to scroll to the appropriate radio button.

to confirm your selection.
If you selected
Single
:
This feature enables a single multiplier to be applied to the flow rate reported by the CTF878.

Scroll down to the
Meter K-Factor
box.

Press
[ENTER]
to open the text box.

Use the numeric keys to enter the desired value. The typical factor is between 0.5 and 2.00.
4.
Press
[ENTER]
to confirm your selection.
You have completed entering data for a single Calibration Factor.
•
To confirm the entries and return to Operate mode, press
[F3]
(OK). The CTF878 returns to Operate Mode.
•
To leave the window without confirming the entries, press
[F2]
(Cancel) or the
[ESC]
key. The CTF878 returns to
Operate Mode.
If you selected
Table
:
The menu asks, first for the data source, and then for the entry of values into the Correction Factor table. This feature
allows the user to “curve fit” velocity calibration multiple data points (from several different data sources or flow
variables) to the flow rate reported by the CTF878.
Note:
You must select the desired measurement and unit before you can enter the data table in Edit Table.

Scroll down to the
Data Source
box.

Press
[ENTER]
to open the Data Source window. The Select Measurement window (Figure 23 on page 19) appears.

Enter the desired measurement and units as described on

[F3]
(OK) to confirm your selection.

Scroll down to Edit Table.

Press
[ENTER]
to open the table (similar to Figure 33 below).

Use the four arrow keys to move to the desired entry in the table.

Use the numeric keys to enter the desired value for the data source, and press
[ENTER]
to confirm the entry.
