Documenting
8.2.1 Sequence to Upload and Download File
1. Ensure the DPI
620 Genii USB setting is in Communications mode. See Section
2. Connect a USB lead to the mini USB type B port on the DPI
620 Genii calibrator.
3. Connect the other end of the USB lead to a USB type A port on the computer that has the
4Sight2™ Calibration Software installed.
4. Use 4Sight2™ to set up the procedure and create a work order for the device.
5. The procedure includes the parameters for the calibration, the number of test points, the
relationship and pass/fail tolerance.
6. Use the Download button in 4Sight2™ to download the file to the DPI
620 Genii calibrator.
A communications symbol will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
7. Select RUN PROCEDURE from the Documenting Menu, or by selecting the 4Sight2™
icon from the Dashboard.
8. In the Results window, select the filename specified in 4Sight2™.
9. Enter/check the User ID and the DUT Serial Number. The ambient environmental
parameters can also be edited.
10. Press the Next button to continue.
11. The Warning notes and Pre-Calibration notes are displayed.
12. Tap on the Start
button. The Procedure sets up the necessary Channel options e.g.
Current (mA), Voltage (Volts).
13. Use the Take Reading button at each set point specified by the procedure. A prompt
shows for each point.
14. When all the readings are complete, tap on the Exit Button
. Look at the results on the
display (As found/As Left).
15. To complete the process, use the calibrator manager to Upload the file back into the
4Sight2™ database.
