5.6 Measure Pressure – TERPS USB
TERPS (Trench Etched Resonant Pressure Sensor) UPM is a resonant silicon pressure sensor
that provides high accuracy and high precision pressure measurement with a digital output. It can
be used with the DPI
620 Genii using USB communication to enhance the calibrator functionality.
Before using a TERPS module, please refer to the user manual (K0473, Druck TERPS
8000/8100/8200/8300 Series).
Note:
To attach a TERPS module to the DPI
620 Genii calibrator, use a Micro-USB cable to
connect the module to the DPI
620 Genii.

5.6.1 TERPS Option Instructions
1. Attach one end of the micro-USB cable to the TERPS module.
2. Push the other type A end of USB cable into the USB socket on the instrument.
3. Power on the instrument.
5.6.2 TERPS Function Procedures
Set the applicable channel options:
1. On the external sensor channel
, select the TERPS function or any TERPS related option
from the Task menu.
2. If necessary, change the Units for the function.
