Starting The Engine :
Turn the fuel tap knob to ON or RES position.

Turn ignition / kill switch to ON position.
—
Confirm that transmission is in neutral / press

the clutch lever.
If the engine is cold or when starting for first
—
time, use choke for quick starting.
Keep throttle completely closed, press starter
—
button ( ).
When the engine is warmed up enough to idle
—
without using choke, return the choke to
“OFF” position( ).
Note :
When the engine is already warm on
0
hot days (Higher than 35 C), open the throttle
part away instead of using the choke, & then
start the engine.
CAUTION :
Do not operate the starter
continuously for more than 5 seconds.
otherwise battery would get discharged. Wait
for 15 seconds between each operation of the
starter which will facilitate battery to recover.
NOTE :
The motorcycle is equipped with a starter
lockout switch. The starter switch will operate
only when transmission is in neutral or clutch
lever pressed.
