ASSEMBLY AND SET UP
•
After preparing the base to be secured to the floor, mount the head to the base using the
bolts provide.
•
Clean the rust inhibitor off of the entire machine and lubricate the moving and bare metal
parts with 30 or 40 weight non-detergent motor oil or equivalent.
•
Open the back cover and lightly grease the gears and pinch adjustment screw using general
purpose grease.
Head Positioning
The R-M10E is designed to operate either in the
horizontal or vertical position. By removing two bolts
the headstock can easily be pivoted to a horizontal
position.
1. The head is shipped in the horizontal position. This
roll bender may be used this way or have the head
pivoted up to the vertical position.
2. Remove the two cap screws and washers (A) from
the top of the cabinet and save to secure the head
in the vertical position.
3. Remove the two cap screws (B) at the back of the
cabinet which secure the head in the horizontal
position.
WARNING:
For your own safety, Disconnect the machine from the power
source until the machine is completely assembled and you read and understand the
entire instruction manual.
CAUTION:
Avoid crushing type injury and machine damage. Make sure
machine is properly secured to floor before tilting head to avoid tipping.
