Setting Up and Customizing Your System 171
Customizing Menus
In the Key Assignment Setup window, you can also specify whether you want to use
personalized menus. This means you can specify how long unused menu options
(buttons) remain on the screen. (You can always see them again by clicking the arrow
next to the menu heading.)
To reset the system so that most options are hidden or so that all are displayed, select
Default Hide All or Default Show All in the field next to Reset and then click Reset.
•
Default Hide All – hides all options that can be hidden. Options are displayed
again when they have been used.
•
Default Show All – displays all options that are currently hidden because they
have not been used recently. Items are hidden again when not used for a period
of time.
You can also specify whether you want the scanner to remember which menu groups
you have open.
In this window, you can also adjust the brightness of the key labels on the control
panel.
System Setup
The General Setup, Clip Storage Setup, 3D Setup, Printer Setup, Password
Setup and Version Information windows are grouped under the System tab. The
Version Information window contains information about the scanner hardware and
software. The other windows are described below.
General Setup
You use the General Setup window to change hospital name, language, video output
format, date and time. You can also reset the system to the factory default setup in
this window.

appears in all documentation of the image. You set or change the hospital name in
the General Setup window.
