To add a remark to a report:

Type in the remark area.
Printing a Report
To print a report:
•
Press the key that is assigned to printing.
The current page of the report is printed. If the report has more than one page,
click Next or Previous to view other pages of the report and print them.
Saving a Report to the Patient Archiving System
To save the report to the patient archiving system:
•
Click Save on the report.
NOTE: You cannot edit a saved report.
Password Protection of the Database
The HIPAA (the American Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of
1996) sets standards for handling patient data and medical records. To comply with
these standards, the patient archive database on the scanner can be password-
protected with a user-specific ID (username) and password.
If you copy the database to a CD and try to open it with Microsoft Access™, you will
be prompted for a (different) password if the database is password-protected. This
password for exported databases cannot be changed.
If the database is password-protected, when you turn on the scanner, a login window
appears:
