Grasp the pouch by the sides.
Press the pouch and base plate together starting at the bottom.
Run your fingers around the coupling on the outside of the
pouch from the bottom to the top: when a slight click is felt, the
pouch is securely positioned on the base plate (D). Push the lever

locked onto the base plate by gently pulling on the pouch.
5. Emptying of drainable pouches
Position yourself appropriately.
•
Drainable pouches with adhesive clamp : slightly lift upwards

6. Removing the product
•
Removing the pouch : make sure that the tab on the bag is
aligned with the lever on the base plate (F). Open the locking
mechanism by moving the locking lever gently upwards (G).

Removing the base plate: pull slightly on the top of the base
plate and remove the base plate from the top to the bottom,
while maintaining gentle pressure on the skin around the
stoma with your other hand.
7. Using uro connectors
The connection of the pouch to a B. Braun distal bag can
require the use of the supplied uro connector. To clip on the
uro connector, press the two wings and insert it into the pouch
tap (N). Open the tap turning it half a turn counterclockwise to
allow urine to flow in the B. Braun distal bag. To un-clip, close
the tap of the pouch by turning it half clockwise and pull out the
uro connector by pressing the two wings (N).
8. Using B. Braun belt
If you wish to use a B. Braun belt, use the two loops on each side.
9. Using filter protection stickers
Before bathing or showering, stick the filter protection sticker
over the gas evacuation openings (S) in order to maintain filter
performances.
For drainable pouches, in the case of horizontal use of the
pouches (night, etc.) stick the filter protection sticker over
the gas evacuation openings (S) in order to avoid leakages
through the filter. Replace the pouch when a vertical position
is recovered.
If you note any change on your stoma and/or peristomal skin,
please contact your health care professional.
National regulations for the destruction of
potentially infectious materials must be observed.
