The User Password can be used to check the user's authority. However, this password
entry is somewhat different to the "SUPERVISOR PASSWORD" mentioned in
previous section. The User Password will have different function according to the
"Supervisor Password" and the "Security Option" setup in Section 4.5:
A. When there is the password stored in the "SUPERVISOR PASSWORD"
1. When "Setup" is selected in Security Option:
When you use the "User Password" to log into the BIOS setup program, you can
only select "User Password", "SAVE & EXIT SETUP" and "EXIT WITHOUT
SAVING" from the main menu. (Use Supervisor Password to log into the PC
system, you will have the complete right to on all BIOS settings.)
2. When "System" is selected in Security Option:
When you start the PC system, a message will appear on the screen request you
to enter the Password. Without correct password, PC system will stop and the
operation system won't be loaded.
