Overview 

The  AZBAT48100B  incorporates  30x  3.2V  (15S2P  configuration);  50Ah  Lithium-Iron  Phosphate 
(LiFePO4)  cells  with  a  1C  charge  and  discharge  rating.  The  battery  incorporates  a  battery 
management system (BMS) which provides the following functionality: 

 

  Protection

  Over discharge

  Over charge 

o

  Short circuit 

o

  Over and under temperature 

o

  Impulse voltage 

  Control 

o

  Charge and discharge current  

o

  Cell balancing 

  Communication 

o

  CANBUS communication port to interface with the inverter. 

o

  MODBUS ports for parallel connections between batteries and for firmware updates 

as well as battery monitoring. 

 
The BMS has been tested with leading inverters, including SunSynk, Victron and GoodWe and has 
been IEC 62619 certified. 
 
The battery is mounted in a durable 5U steel casing and fits in a standard 19-inch rack. The battery 
has 2x M8 terminal connections on the front for a sturdy connection to the battery cables.
