1.4 Nameplate
A nameplate (Figure 1-2) is attached to the control valve. The nameplate indicates
the model number, valve size, pressure rating, material, date of manufacture,
and other major specifications of the control valve. Check that the specifications
indicated on the nameplate are appropriate for the application.
The nameplate also includes the product number (PROD. No.) of the control valve.
When making inquiries about modification of specifications or replacement of
parts, please include this number along with other information.
