4-2 : Transportation of flowmeter to the installation site
• Weigh the flowmeter and post the weight in a place where one can see it.
• Check to see if a crane can be used.
•
If rollers are to be used for moving a flowmeter, encase the flowmeter in a
wooden frame.
• Provide a chain block scaffolding.
• Use a jack or a stepladder if necessary.
