Firing Button
The firing button is located behind the safety switch and is ARMED when the safety is in
the forward position.
In the event of an unintentional discharge, immediately move the safety switch to
the rearward (SAFE) position to stop the discharge cycle.
When shifting the safety switch to the ARMED or SAFE positions, take care to not touch the
firing button in order to avoid an unintentional discharge.
The LED on the firing button communicates battery and device status. A green LED
indicates a good charge. When the LED is yellow, the battery is getting low. A red LED
indicates the battery is depleted and/or an error in the device. If you replace the batteries
and the LED is still red, contact customer support.
Spark Duration
When the Bolt 2 energy weapon is deployed with a single push of the button, it delivers an approximately
30-second Shaped Pulse energy burst of short-duration electrical pulses. This sparking will continue
for 30 seconds unless the safety switch is moved to the rearward (SAFE) position.
If the firing button is pushed a second time while the weapon is arcing, the weapon will stop arcing.
To start a new energy cycle, you must press the firing button again.
