Operation and keys
Four function keys on the remote control should be noted:
BAND
/
station key 1
LINK/ station key 2
PRESET/ station key 3
MENU/ station key 4
Station keys 1 to 4 facilitate access to stations saved in the memory in DAB operation. Relevant
key should be pressed briefly.
Saving stations is covered in ”PRESET“ section (see below).
BAND
DAB module has three memories (Band 1, Band 2, Band 3) and
an AUX input.
To switch between memoriesand AUX first press and hold
BAND
, select desired input with arrow key, then confirm with
OK
. Band 1 is pre-set at the factory. Up to twelve station
memories are available (four per BAND), and these can be
individually programmed.
External audio sources can be connected at the AUX input via
the integrated 3.5 mm jack. A suitable adaptor cable (3.5mm
Stereo jack at each end) can be obtained from your supplier.
LINK
The audio signal from the DAB Module is transmitted to your
existing radio set via an integrated FM transmitter (broadcaster)
with adjustable FM frequency.
The
LINK
key should be pressed and held to switch between pre-
set broadcast frequencies and input a user-defined frequency.
The FM frequency currently set is shown in the display on your
radio. Use arrow keys to select pre-set frequency (
F1
to
F4
) or set
user-defined frequency (
MANUAL
).
In “
MANUAL“
mode
TO [
Frequency
]
appears in the display, so
now set the same frequency on the car radio.
Always confirm the selection with
OK
.
Important!
Ensure that the FM frequency of DAB Module as station is
saved on one of the station keys of your radio!
In order to restore FM frequency to factory setting (87.6 MHz)
the“MENU“ key should be pressed for three seconds, then
released, and press ”OK“.
Should your radio display show no message or there be no reaction to the remote control,the FM
frequency of DAB module does not tally with that set on your radio. Please set the 87.6 MHz
described.
