Display messages
The DAB+ module is operated by remote control. System messages and menu items appear in the radio
display panel as RDS (Radio Data System) signals.
IMPORTANT!
Ensure that your radio supports RDS text, otherwise you will not be able to read any system
messages! You can find this information in the operating instructions for your radio.
Display messages:
DABRADIO
- appears on display when module switched on

- current station name
TUNING
- appears on display when station is tuned*
RESETING
- appears on display when factory settings restored
DONE
- appears on display to confirm current procedure
RETUNING
-appears on display when setting FM broadcast frequency
TO [
Frequency
]
- newly-tuned FM broadcast frequency (manual)
AF [
Frequency
]
- newly-tuned FM broadcast frequency in AF mode
SEEKING
- search in progress, next strong station being sought
UNAVAIL
- current tuned station not available *
POOR SIG
- signal strength of current station too weak (reception conditions)*
*message appears on display in difficult reception conditions (in tunnels)
Overview of remote operation
1. ON/ OFF key:
- Press to switch on
- Press and hold to switch off
2. OK key:
- In radio operation: press for indication of current station signal
strength
- In radio operation: press and hold to perform full search
(FULLSCAN)
- In menu mode: press to confirm selection
3. Arrow keys:
- In radio operation: press to change stations, for search (next
strong station) press and hold
- In menu mode: press for selection
4. Back key:
- General: press and hold to restore DAB module to factory
settings.
- In radio operation: press in order to change back to last tuned
station or interrupt an action e.g. SEEKING.
- In menu mode: press to leave without saving
5. BAND key/ Station key 1
- To select from the choice of stations press 1
- To switch between Band 1, Band 2, Band 3press and hold
AUX
6. LINK key/ Station key 2
- To select from the choice of stations press2
- press and hold to set FM frequency
7. PRESET key/ Station key 3
- To select from the choice of stations press3
- Press and hold to access saved stations
8. MENU key/ Station key 4
- To select from the choice of stations press4
- Press and hold to access main menu
