4.19 Compact Flash Connector
This Compact Flash connector
CN10
is designed for
“
on-board
”
expansion.
Before we insert the Compact Flash card into socket, we need
to make sure that the voltage setting (
JP8
) is the same as with
this Compact Flash card workround specification.
Compact Flash Card shares with the secondary IDE interface
with other devices. If the secondary IDE has deployed other
device (ex. CD-ROM, HDD….), we must make sure that setting
for this device is either master or slave. The Compact Flash
card cannot be set the same Master or slave as other devices.
We shall make different setting to avoid the confilict by
JP7
.
The IDE cable must use the
DMA33
IDE cable.
