4.2.2.
Cross Multiplex Mode
The cross-multiplex mode is used:
•
To split the programs of a transponder to several modulators.
•
To merge programs of several transponders into one output channel.
Transmission capacities in the distribution networks can be optimized.
Change the
Network ID
to a value greater than zero.
Click on SAVE CHANGES.
The IDs of the transport streams
TS ID1
to
TS ID8 [12/16]
are automatically incremented by one to 8
[12/16], the cross-multiplex mode is activated.
In the
ONID
field (Original Network ID), the network ID is taken by default. If necessary, the ONID can be
entered manually here.
Important:
If you use several MK in a network, then the network IDs must be the same and the network name should also
be the same. Transport stream IDs, on the other hand, may only be assigned once in the network.
