3.13. Syslog
By designating the Syslog server IP on EOC 10-01, EOC 10-01 will emit Unix-like Syslog events toward each
server. Please refer RFC-3164 for Syslog ‘Severity’, used to denote the log level – digit ‘0’ to ‘7’ for different
severity level:
0: EMERGENCY – log only severe events
1: ALERT
2: CRITICAL
3: ERROR
4: WARNING
5: NOTICE
6: INFO
7: DEBUG – log everything
For example, EOC 10-01 will emit only ‘EMERGENCY’ event to Server with IP address ‘192.168.1.111’
according to the following,
3.14. Time
EOC 10-01 supports SNTP protocol and you may assign the suitable SNTP servers to EOC 10-01. Then Syslog
events will have correct time-stamp.
For example,
To access your listed SNTP server by its domain name instead of IP address, the ‘DNS Server’ and ‘Default
Gateway’ in ‘IP’ window need to be setup correctly.
3.15. Reboot/Default
Reboot EOC 10-01, and may reset NMU or Master or EP settings to factory default.
