5 Installation

5.2.2

Installation Position

The installation position of the device can be freely selected.

If the device is not installed in a vertical position, the retractor systems must be held in
place/supported by suitable pipe clamps (see AWH catalog, “Pipes & Assembly Accessories” at

http://www.awh.eu

); this is recommended for stroke lengths greater than 250 mm.

The pipe clamp should be secured close to the compressed air connection at the rear end of
the pneumatic cylinder, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the pneumatic pipe.
