Identification for Explosion Protection
Devices in explosion-proof design are identified by stating the device group, category, ignition protection
type, explosion group, temperature class and EPL on the type plate. A CE and Ex mark confirms
compliance of the device with ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU.

For the intended use of the devices in the respective zones, the devices must have an appropriate
protection level.
The device protection levels specified in ISO 80079-36 are related to the corresponding device groups
