capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 1 Hz to 5.3 kHz. Its power is tapped from
VDD_3V supplied directly from AVT9152 module when jumper J2:1-2 is ON.
The device may be configured to generate interrupt signals by detecting two independent inertial wake-
up/free-fall events as well as by the position of the device itself. Both the INT1 and INT2 pin are accessible
on J1 connector pin 3 and 4 respectively. User has the flexibility to connect these interrupt pins to either
the nRF52840 or nRF9160 devices’ GPIOs in the AVT9152 module using the 6-pin rainbow jumper cable
provided with the kit, Arduino UNO connectors and jumper J7, J12, J13. Please refer to the AVT9152 Quick
Start Guide for help.
The accelerometer I2C bus read and write command addresses have been configured for 0x33 and 0x32
respectively.
5.10.2.
MEMS 3-axis gyroscope sensor
The MEMS a low-power 3-axis angular rate sensor from ST Microelectronics (I3G4250D), U3 is capable to
provide unprecedented stability at zero-rate level and sensitivity over temperature and time. It has a
selectable full scale (±245/±500/±2000 dps) and is capable of measuring rates with a user-selectable
bandwidth. Its power source is from VDD_3V supplied directly from AVT9152 module when jumper J2:3-4
is ON.
The device may be configured to generate interrupt signals based on FIFO event and user programmable
conditions. Both the INT1 and INT2 pin are accessible on J1 connector pin 5 and 6 respectively. User has
the flexibility to connect these interrupt pins to either the nRF52840 or nRF9160 devices’ GPIOs in the
AVT9152 module using the 6-pin rainbow jumper cable provided with the kit, Arduino UNO connectors and
jumper J7, J12, J13. Please refer to the AVT9152 Quick Start Guide for help.
The gyroscope I2C bus read and write command addresses have been configured for 0xD3 and 0xD2
respectively.
5.10.3.
MEMS nano pressure sensor
The ST Microelectronics, LPS22HB MEMS ultra-compact piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor, U4
functions as a digital output barometer capable of measuring absolute pressure ranging from 260 to 1260
hPa. The pressure sensor power comes from VDD_3V supplied directly from AVT9152 module when
jumper J2:5-6 is ON.
The device may be configured to generate interrupt signal based on Data Ready, FIFO event or pressure
thresholds. The INT pin is accessible on J1 connector pin 7. User has the flexibility to connect this interrupt
pin to
either the nRF52840 or nRF9160 devices’ GPIO in the AVT9152 module using the 6-pin rainbow
jumper cable provided with the kit, Arduino UNO connectors and jumper J7, J12, J13. Please refer to the
AVT9152 Quick Start Guide for help.
The pressure sensor I2C bus read and write command addresses have been configured for 0xBB and 0xBA
respectively.
