Description
No Compass
This is typically selected for locations where magnetic interference is expected. In this
case, the antenna will make a wide scan in accordance with the “NoCompass Scan
Width” parameter
GPS or AvLGPS
For future release.
Compass
This is the most common setting which uses the NAV RIOM built-in compass.
Manual
For manual compass, the pedestal is set physically due south (northern hemisphere).
The heading is assumed to be at 180 degrees from this point.
SatTant
For future release
VectorCompass
To be used only when the Vector Compass option is installed for high accuracy systems.

4.2.8 Target Selection Pane

The Target Selection Pane contains the satellite profile currently active from the ACU’s onboard satellite
profile list. Opening the Target Profile Selection Dropdown Menu displays all of the available profiles
which may be selected for acquisition. Once a new profile is selected it becomes the running
configuration and its target satellite will be shown in the “Current Satellite Display”.
Once the controller has entered acquisition mode the Actual Target Position Display will update to
display the selected satellite’s position relative to the antenna.
