Replacing the Snap-in Pad Module
After scanning about 50,000 sheets through the ADF, the pad may be worn out and
you may experience problems with document feeding. In this case, it is highly
recommended to replace the pad module with a new one. For ordering the pad
module, please consult your nearest dealer and follow the procedure below to replace
it.
After the replacement has been finished, be sure to reset ADF pad count. To reset
ADF pad count, tap [
More Settings
] on the upper-right corner of the main screen,
and then tap [
Show Machine Status
]

Tools
]>[
Device Settings
] and then double
click [
Feature
], the [
Administrative Mode
] will be displayed. Choose [
Reset
Counter
] and then [
ADF Pad
] to reset the ADF pad count.
Disassembling Procedure
1.
Gently open the ADF front cover.
2.
Remove the ADF snap-in pad module by pressing the lock upward.
