Database Path
This must contain the full local path name of the directory where the
new database will reside. This path must include the E:\ drive letter
for the local drive (such as, E:\1080i\)

Computer Name
The network name of the machine where the database is to reside.
This can be determined by looking at the network properties in the
Windows XP Control Panel. AirSpeed Multi Stream fills in this
name automatically.

Drive Share Name
The share name for the drive where the database resides. This can be
determined by looking at the properties of the drive in Windows XP
(right-click on the drive’s icon(E)).
Options

Unicode
All AirSpeed Multi Stream databases are Unicode™. You cannot
deselect this check box. This allows storage of non-ASCII characters
such as Katakana and Kanji from Asian languages or Middle Eastern
languages in the database.

Advanced Options — Proxy
Location
•
Computer Name
The network name of the machine where the proxy files will reside.
You can determine the location by looking at the network properties
in the Windows XP Control Panel. Proxies are low-resolution MPEG
(.mpg) files playable from your workstation.

Path
This must contain the full local path name of the directory where the
proxy files will reside. This path must include a drive letter for the
local drive.
•
Drive Share Name
The share name for the drive where the proxy files reside. You can
determine the drive by looking at its properties in Windows XP
(right-click on the drive’s icon).
Advanced Options — Path
•
Headframe
This must contain the full local path name of the directory where still
image files will reside. It is automatically filled in when the
Database path is entered, and it cannot be changed.
