The Kramer VP Series scaling presentation video switchers can be controlled with Mira Connect™, Aveo Systems’ smart
control appliance.
To integrate the Kramer VP Series with Mira Connect, add a Kramer Video Switcher
to the room in Mira Portal (
), select the model, and
enter the IP address of the system and press ‘add equipment’. Mira Connect will
connect to the Kramer VP Series and, if the IP address is valid, Mira Portal will show
the equipment status as a green circle once the Kramer VP Series device has been
validated on the network.
Important information about the integration is summarized below.
Control Interface
The Kramer VP Series is controlled via TCP over port 5000.
Mira Connect switches audio and video together (audio follows video) when changing video inputs to outputs.
Models Supported
VP-778, VS-622DT, VP-558, and VP-445. Additional VP series products can be supported.

Tested with a VP-778 with device firmware v3.00.07.36759
Configuration Steps
On the Mira Portal Video Inputs tab, enable the desired inputs on the video switcher, and enter labels and optional
descriptions, to create the video display menu for source selection.
