The syntax for this command is:
[no] clock source {line|internal}
Note: Only one E1/T1 controller at a time can recover the network clock and
distribute it to the internal clock generator.
Examples:
X330WAN-2DS1-1(config-controller:1)#
clock source internal
X330WAN-2DS1-1(config-controller:1)#
no clock source
controller
Use the
controller
command to enter the specified controller's mode.
Note: You cannot configure one controller as E1 and the other as T1.
The syntax for this command is:
controller { e1 | t1 } <port>
Example:
X330WAN-2DS1-1(configure)# controller E1 2
description (Controller context)
Use the
description
command to set the description of the E1/T1 interface. This
description appears both in the
ifAlias
and the
circuitIdentifier
MIB
values for that interface. Use the
no
form of this command to remove the
line The controller recovers the external clock from the line and
provides the recovered clock to the internal (system) clock
generator. This is the default value.
internal The controller synchronizes itself to the internal (system) clock.
e1 This is an E1 port.
t1 This is a T1 port.
port The number of the port that is being configured.
