Customizing Captive Portal using static HTML pages
Use this procedure to customize the Captive Portal user login experience using static HTML
pages.
Captive Portal customization using static HTML pages helps you update only those Web pages
that are displayed during the Captive Portal
user login process
(that is, during user
authentication).
After successful authentication, a standard HTML page is used to display a welcome message
to the user. You can however specify a redirect URL to redirect the user to, like a corporate
portal page or a service main page. For more information on configuring the redirect URL, see
Redirecting the URL for captive portals
on page 34.
