About this task
Use this procedure to join Avaya Spaces meetings from your calendar in the Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience. You can join meetings on Avaya Spaces if the meeting invitation includes a
link to the Avaya Spaces meeting room.
Before you begin
Make sure that you log in to Avaya Spaces.
Procedure
1. On Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience, tap the
Calendar
tab.
2. Tap next to a meeting to join.
Result
Avaya Vantage
™
opens the Avaya Spaces application. The screen displays the message:
Starting video call

Using Spaces in-meeting controls
About this task
At the start or during a Spaces meeting or call, use the in-meeting controls to manage the call. If
you are an administrator of a meeting room, you can mute all participants and prevent a
participant from unmuting audio at the start or during a meeting. An administrator must use the
desktop or web version of Spaces to configure the settings for a meeting.
Note:
Some advanced controls, such as sending your video or presentation to an external display
and sending your presentation to a personal computer (PC) are only available with Avaya
Spaces on Avaya Vantage
™
.
Before you begin
You must be in an active Spaces meeting on Avaya Vantage
™
.
• To mute or unmute your audio, on the active Spaces meeting screen, tap or .
• To notify the administrator to unmute you, on the active Spaces meeting screen, tap .
Alternatively, tap
next to your name and select
Raise hand
.
If the administrator permits you to unmute, tap to unmute your audio.
• To stop notifying the administrator to unmute you, on the active Spaces meeting screen, tap
. Alternatively, tap
next to your name and select
Lower hand
.
