About this task
When both the Expansion Module application and Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience are
installed on the same device, after the connection is established, you can easily navigate from one
application to the other.
• To navigate to the Expansion Module application from Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC
experience, tap

built-in UC experience from the Expansion Module
application, tap
.
Enabling video calls through Expansion Module
About this task
When you initiate a call through a feature button, such as
Autodial
or
Priority Call
, on the
Expansion Module application, the application makes an audio call by default. Use this procedure
if you want the application to make video calls instead of audio calls.
If you do not enable video calls, you can escalate an audio call to a video call after the call is
established.
Procedure
1. Tap the
Dial pad
tab.
2. Tap
Extension
>
User Settings
>
Expansion Module
.
3. Tap the
Use video for new calls
switch to enable video calls through Expansion Module.
Expansion Module initiates all outgoing calls as video calls.
Using call features on Expansion Module
About this task
If your system administrator has activated features, such as priority calling, call forwarding, call
pickup, and auto callback, for your extension, you can access them using feature buttons on the
Avaya Connect Expansion Module application. The system administrator might preset some
feature labels. You can customize the button labels.
