Procedure
1. Tap the
Dial pad
tab.
2. Tap
Extension
>
User Settings
>
Expansion Module
.
3. Tap the
Expansion Module
toggle switch to enable the Expansion Module service.
4. To allow discovery of your device by Expansion Module applications installed on other
devices on the network, tap the
Network Discovery
toggle switch to enable Network
Discovery.
Your device remains visible to other devices with Expansion Module applications for
approximately one minute. After this time, the Network Discovery service is disabled
automatically and your device is no longer visible to other devices.
5.
(Optional)
To customize the device name that is visible to other devices, tap
Network
Discovery Name
, modify the device name, and tap
OK
.

About this task
Depending on the device configuration by your administrator, the Expansion Module application
can automatically pair and connect with the Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience running on the
same device. You do not need to perform any additional action.
If not automatically connected, use this procedure to connect Expansion Module with the local
built-in UC experience.
Before you begin
Log in to Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.
Procedure
1. Enable the Expansion Module service on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.
2. Open the Avaya Connect Expansion Module application.
3.

If you are opening the Expansion Module application for the first time, accept
the EULA to proceed.
4. Tap
Connect to this device
.
5. For future connectivity between the two applications, tap one of the following options:
