Auto tone dialling (DTMF) - switching off
Your telephone is set in the factory such that all post-dialled numeric keys are sent as tones
during a connection. This allows you, for example, to call up voice mail or remotely control an
answering machine. These digits are neither displayed nor put into the redial memory.
Press the "Menu" function key.
Scroll to the
Settings
menu item.
Confirm entry.
Scroll to the
Dial settings
menu item.
Confirm entry.
Scroll to the
DTMF switchover (Y)
menu item.
Confirm entry.
Switch DMF to
(N)
.
Confirm entry.

If you want to re-activate tone dialling, then scroll to the "DTMF switchover (N)" menu
item and select "(Y)".
