Set the ringer selection switch on each 655A power supply. See
Figure 8, 655A power supply fuse
and ringer switch,
on page 75 for ring selection switch.
The switch can be set for:
•
20 Hz—North American
•
25 Hz—European and international
•
Off—No ringing output. Used when an external ring generator, such as the TN2202
French ringing circuit pack, is provided.

NOTE:
If you plug a power supply into a slot that has not previously contained a power supply, it
will self administer.
